2020 is the sixth Fragments in Time series. As I researched the Shakers for the 2019 Fragments series, I was very much intrigued by their embodiment of virtues. As one thought lead to the next, I began researching how virtues were illustrated during the early years of America. The woodcuts and engravings I found inspired me as I created this series.
